Buffalo Response

We want to pray for our neighbors - all of those in our community in fact - as we approach the one year anniversary of the mass shooting that took place in our city at Tops on Jefferson Avenue last year. These evil, racially-motivated actions took the lives of 10 people and injured 3. The impact was certainly felt deeply by the family of those who were killed, but also of the African American community in our city. Let's encourage each other to do two things:

1 - Pray
Pray for comfort, for strength, and for the power of the gospel to overwhelm fear and anger as we approach this solemn anniversary.

2 - Be Present
While you may not have a direct connection to the family or community that was impacted, we as a church community were directly affected.
You can also participate in a few different community events that are happening this week.
