Family Discussion
Our aim is for both parents and kids to discover Jesus through the true stories of the Bible. We’re all about loving God, loving the Church, and loving the World. Our hope is to equip, connect, and encourage parents on their incredible journey of discipling their children!
Use this resource to engage in discussion with your family throughout the week!
Family Discussion Questions
- What does it mean to “help others in simple ways”?
- How are Philippians 2:1-11 and Acts 9:36-42 connected? What do both Jesus and Tabitha teach us about serving others?
- Why do you think Jesus wants us to help others?
- Who is someone you can serve this week? What could you do for them on your own? As a family?
Application Activity
“ONE SMALL THING” CHALLENGE. As a family, choose one small way to serve someone this week (bake cookies, write a note, pray for someone, help a neighbor). Do it together and talk about how God can use your simple gift to show His love. Talk about it: How did it feel to do something small? How might God use it in a big way?
Memory Verse
“God is able to do far more than we could ever ask for or imagine. He does everything by His power that is working in us.” -Ephesians 3:20, NIrV
